Changti Coffee House Introduction
"Running a café in Dongyin is challenging, but I managed to pull through. During the peak period of karaoke, many businesses transformed into karaoke bars, but I have always dreamed of opening the ideal café in my mind. A café is a static place where soldiers used to come in, listen to music, and write letters to their lovers or family. The photos on the wall showcase the plants from Dongyin from January to December. Dongyin has different plant ecologies in each season; right now is the season for the blooming of silver grass, and soon we will see red spider lilies. 'Changti' has been in operation for twenty-six years, serving handmade coffee and western cuisine. The idea to open the café came from the realization that Dongyin lacked a comfortable café. After graduating, I returned home and collaborated with my brother. The owner even traveled to Taiwan for an inspection, visiting over ten cafés in one day and drinking many cups of coffee. The owner believes that the greatest feature of 'Changti' is not the food or the coffee, but the strong passion and relaxed atmosphere."
