Changti Cafe Introduction
"Running a café in Dongyin is quite challenging, but no matter what, I've managed to pull through. During the karaoke boom, many businesses transformed into karaoke bars, but I've always dreamed of opening my ideal café. A café is a tranquil place where soldiers used to come to listen to music and write letters to their loved ones. The photos on the wall showcase the plants of Dongyin from January to December; the flora changes with the seasons, and right now it's the season for miscanthus flowers, with the red spider lily blooming next. 'Changti' has been in operation for twenty-six years, serving handcrafted coffee and Western cuisine. The idea of opening the café came from the realization that Dongyin lacked a comfortable café. After graduating, I returned home and collaborated with my brother on this venture. The owner even went to Taiwan for research, visiting up to a dozen cafés in one day and tasting just as many cups of coffee. The owner believes that the greatest feature of 'Changti' is not the food, nor the coffee, but the warm enthusiasm and relaxed atmosphere."
