Changti Coffee House Introduction
"Running a coffee shop in Dongyin is challenging, but I have managed to pull through. During the heyday of karaoke, many businesses shifted to operate karaoke, but I believe opening a store that embodies my ideal has always been a beautiful dream. The coffee shop is a static space where soldiers once came in to listen to music and write letters to their lovers or family. The photos on the wall showcase the flora of Dongyin from January to December; each season brings different plant life, and now is the season for flowering miscanthus, followed by the appearance of red spider lilies. 'Changti' has been in operation for twenty-six years, selling handmade coffee and Western cuisine. The idea to open a shop came from the realization that Dongyin lacked a comfortable coffee shop. After graduating, I returned home and collaborated with my brother. The owner even traveled to Taiwan for research, visiting over a dozen coffee shops in a single day and drinking countless cups of coffee. The owner believes that the greatest feature of 'Changti' is not the food or the coffee, but the strong passion and relaxed atmosphere."
