East Sea Hero Wind Introduction
The best vantage point to overlook the entire South Australia is on the mountaintop above the seven buildings of South Australia, where a giant stone inscribed with the words "East Sea Heroic Wind" stands. According to the Dongyin Township Chronicle, in the spring of 1956, a small boat patrol of the East Sea Guerrilla Unit stationed on the island encountered several enemy ships invading the waters. After bravely repelling the attack and returning triumphantly, the unit leader was pleased to have defeated many with few and inscribed the words "East Sea Heroic Wind" to commemorate their bravery. Standing at the mountaintop and gazing down, one can enjoy a panoramic view of South Australia Village and the Zhongzhu Harbor area, offering unobstructed beautiful scenery. It is the only high ground on Dongyin Island that is open to the public and allows a 360-degree view of the entire island.
