The Dongyong Chen Gao produced here is made using natural fermentation and traditional brewing methods, with meticulous control over temperature, humidity, and even the beneficial microbes that aid fermentation. It utilizes spring water from granite geological formations rich in mica, along with master brewers who determine the brewing time according to the seasons. This careful and strict quality control results in a rich and mellow liquor that has earned the reputation of "Dongyong Chen Gao surpassing Maotai." Due to its difficult production process and reasonable price, it is beloved by Matsu residents, and it is a staple for weddings, funerals, and celebrations, as well as a prized gift for honored guests. At the Dongyin Exhibition Center of Matsu Distillery, visitors can taste Dongyong Chen Gao, watch introductory videos, and view displays of liquor produced over the years.
