The Dong Chong Chen Gao is made using natural fermentation and traditional brewing methods, ensuring that temperature, humidity, and beneficial bacteria for fermentation are all just right. It uses spring water from granite geology rich in zeolite, and the experienced distillers determine the brewing time according to the seasons. This meticulous and strict quality control results in a robust wine that has earned the nickname "Dong Chong Chen Gao surpassing Moutai." Due to its difficulty in production and reasonable price, it is beloved by the people of Matsu and is indispensable for ceremonies and celebrations, as well as a treasure for entertaining guests. Visitors to the Matsu Distillery Dongyin Exhibition Center can taste Dong Chong Chen Gao, watch an introductory video, and view exhibits of wines produced over the years.
