Standing Pavilion offers a panoramic view of Dongyin and Xiyin. On the way west to Xiyin along the Zhongzhu Dyke, there is a pavilion with a statue of Chiang Ching-kuo, called the "Gratitude Pavilion." It was built by the military and civilians of Dongyin in appreciation of Chiang Ching-kuo's support for major construction on the island. Inside the Gratitude Pavilion, the statue of Chiang faces south with a dignified posture, embodying the spirit of "kindness, nature, dedication, and sacrifice" throughout his life. Climbing to the Gratitude Pavilion provides a 360° panoramic view of Dongyin and Xiyin, where the vast sea stretches out before you—sparkling in summer and chilling in winter, each offering a different experience.

It was built by the military and civilians of Dongyin to express their gratitude for Mr. Chiang's support of significant developments on the island. Inside the Gratitude Pavilion, the statue of Mr. Chiang faces south, representing the spirit of his lifelong dedication with the phrase "kind-hearted and self-sacrificing." Climbing up to the Gratitude Pavilion provides a 360-degree view of Dongyin and Xiyin, with expansive views of the sea; in summer, the water sparkles, while in winter, the cold sea breeze offers different experiences.
