Standing Pavilion offers a panoramic view of Dongyin and Xiyin. On the way along the Zhongzhu Dyke towards Xiyin, there stands a pavilion with a statue of Chiang Ching-kuo, known as the "Gratitude Pavilion." This pavilion was built by the residents of Dongyin to show their appreciation for Chiang Ching-kuo's support for significant construction projects on the island. Inside the Gratitude Pavilion, the statue of Chiang sits majestically facing south, embodying his spirit of "kindness, naturalness, dedication, and sacrifice." Climbing up to the Gratitude Pavilion allows for a 360-degree view of Dongyin and Xiyin. The vast sea provides a broad perspective; in summer, the waves shimmer, while in winter, the cold sea breeze offers a different experience.

It was built by the military and civilians of Dongyin in appreciation of Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo's support for the island's significant developments. Inside the Gratitude Pavilion, the statue of Mr. Chiang faces south, embodying the spirit of "kindness, naturalness, dedication, and sacrifice," representing his lifetime of contributions. Climbing up to the Gratitude Pavilion allows for a 360-degree panoramic view of Dongyin and Xiyin, with the expansive ocean stretching out before you. In summer, the sea sparkles, while in winter, the cold sea breeze evokes different feelings.
