Thanksgiving Pavilion Introduction
Standing Pavilion offers a panoramic view of the East and West Jin Islands. On the way to the West Jin Island along the Zhongzhu Dike, there is a pavilion with a statue of Chiang Ching-kuo, named the "Gratitude Pavilion." It was constructed by the military and civilians of Dongyin to express their appreciation for Chiang Ching-kuo's support for the island's significant developments. Inside the Gratitude Pavilion, the statue of Mr. Chiang sits majestically facing south, embodying the spirit of "kindness, naturalness, dedication, and sacrifice" throughout his life. Climbing to the Gratitude Pavilion provides a 360-degree panoramic view of Dongyin and West Jin Island, with a broad perspective of the sea. In summer, the waves sparkle, while in winter, the sea breeze is chilly, each season offering a different experience.
