Monk Reading Scriptures Introduction
At the edge of Ru Ding Lao Seng, one can observe scriptures. Every time a vessel prepares to dock at Zhong Zhu Harbor, a giant rock can be seen standing on the hillside of "Er Liu Base" on Xi Yin Island, facing west towards Zhong Zhu Harbor. It resembles a deeply focused practitioner, immersed in reading scriptures amidst the bustling world, hence its name "Monk Reading Sutras." Located in a crucial strategic position, it overlooks Zhong Zhu Harbor from Er Liu Base, guarding the gateway to the East Yin, controlling the entry and exit of various types of vessels. During sunset, the sky is filled with rosy clouds; viewed from Nan Ao, the "Monk Reading Sutras" beautifully complements the sunset scenery, evoking endless imagination. Note: Due to its location in an important strategic area of Dong Yin, the "Monk Reading Sutras" is currently still a military-controlled zone, and tourists are not allowed to enter.
