Reading Sutras by Monks Introduction
At the edge of the meditation monk cliff, every time a ship is about to dock at Zhongzhu Port, one can notice a giant rock standing on the hillside of "Erli Point" on Xiyin Island, overlooking Zhongzhu Port to the west. It resembles a profound practitioner absorbed in reading scriptures amidst the bustling world, hence the name "Monk Reading Scriptures." Located at a crucial strategic position, it overlooks Zhongzhu Port from Erli Point, guarding the gateway to Dongyin and controlling the entry and exit of various types of vessels. At sunset, the sky is filled with rosy clouds; from Nanao, looking towards "Monk Reading Scriptures," it enhances the sunset scenery, making it even more enchanting and full of imagination. Note: Due to its important strategic location in Dongyin, Monk Reading Scriptures is currently still a military-controlled area, and tourists are not allowed to enter.
