Monks Reading Scriptures Introduction
The Monk Reading Sutras is a giant rock standing on the hillside of the "Er Liu Base" on Xiyin Island, visible whenever vessels prepare to dock at Zhongzhu Harbor. It faces west towards Zhongzhu Harbor, resembling a deeply focused practitioner immersed in reading scriptures amidst the bustling world, hence the name. "The Monk Reading Sutras" is located in an important strategic position, overseeing Zhongzhu Harbor from Er Liu Base and controlling the entry and exit of various vessels. During sunset, the sky is filled with rosy clouds; from Nanao, the view of "The Monk Reading Sutras" against the backdrop of the setting sun is particularly stunning, inspiring endless imagination. Note: Due to its location in an important strategic area of Dongyin, The Monk Reading Sutras is currently still within a military-controlled zone, and visitors are not allowed to enter.
