Lin Yi-He Workshop Introduction
Lin Yi-He was a legendary figure who lived for only 31 short years. His descendants learned about his remarkable life from the older residents, and moved by his legacy, they renovated Lin Yi-He’s former residence. They focused on the traditional brewing techniques passed down through generations to produce vinegar and pickled products. In addition to handmade vinegar, handmade radish sauce, and anchovies, the owner also offers DIY activities for brewing old wine and making egg rolls. Participants need to make reservations in advance, with each session accommodating around 40 people; however, since there is only one machine for making egg rolls, not everyone can experience it if there are too many participants. Therefore, the owner suggests limiting the number of people for the egg roll DIY. At the Lin Yi-He Workshop, besides DIY experiences, the owner also shares stories about Lin Yi-He from back in the day, allowing guests to enjoy crafting while listening to stories, and they can appreciate the beautiful sunsets of Matsu outdoors, creating a truly pleasant experience.
