Lin Yi He Workshop Introduction
Lin Yi He, who had a short life of only 31 years, is a legendary figure in the community. His descendants learned about his deeds from the older generations of residents and, moved by his legacy, restored Lin Yi He's former residence, focusing on traditional brewing techniques to produce vinegar and pickled goods. In addition to handmade vinegar, handmade radish sauce, and anchovy products, the owner also offers DIY activities for making traditional rice wine and egg rolls. Participants need to make reservations in advance, with a maximum of about 40 people at a time; however, since there is only one machine for making egg rolls, not everyone will be able to participate simultaneously, so the owner suggests keeping the number of egg roll DIY participants relatively small. At Lin Yi He Workshop, besides the DIY activities, the owner also shares stories about Lin Yi He from back in the day, allowing guests to enjoy crafting and listening to tales while appreciating one of the most beautiful sunsets in Matsu outdoors, making for a delightful experience.
