Lin Yi-He Workshop Introduction

Lin Yi-He was a legendary figure who lived only 31 short years. His descendants learned of his deeds from the older residents and, inspired by this, restored Lin Yi-He’s old residence to promote traditional brewing techniques, offering vinegar products and pickled items. In addition to handmade vinegar and handmade radish sauce, as well as anchovies, the owner also offers DIY activities for making traditional rice wine and egg rolls. Participants must make an appointment in advance with the owner, and each session can accommodate around 40 people; however, since there is only one machine for making egg rolls, not everyone can have the experience at once, so the owner recommends limiting the number of participants for the egg roll DIY. At Lin Yi-He Workshop, aside from DIY activities, the owner shares stories of Lin Yi-He from years past, allowing visitors to enjoy both crafts and tales while appreciating the beautiful sunset over Matsu, creating a truly pleasant experience.
