The traditional Sichuan-style spicy hot pot boasts a unique flavor that's numbing without being overly spicy. The pot includes duck blood tofu that has been soaked for a long time in the broth, and the main dishes are even richer, featuring lung slices, beef tripe, hairy belly, and large intestine tips. This spicy hot pot is distinctive and generally doesn't require a drink; however, it can be complemented with white wine to enhance the taste, but definitely should not be paired with beer or soda, which would ruin its flavor. Couple's lung slices is a famous Sichuan dish, and the restaurant takes its name from this dish, with master chefs continuously developing the broth that has spread throughout Taiwan.
