Paper Dragon Creative Workshop Introduction
The philosophy of "Puli Paper" since its establishment in 1979 has been to meticulously create every sheet of paper. Under the leadership of founder Mr. Chang Ching-Hsiang, it has been 40 years since then, during which the superior paper-making technology has been marketed to over 60 countries across five continents. In 2007, with the guidance of the Industrial Technology Research Institute of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the "Paper Making Dragon Creative Pavilion" was established, which is a tourist factory that introduces the mechanical paper-making processes. Unlike the traditional paper-making known to many, Paper Making Dragon presents a modern and life-oriented machinery for paper production, conveying the warmth of paper to visitors through story-based tours and DIY crafting activities. The Paper Making Dragon Creative Pavilion is located in Puli, Nantou, a small paper-making town that started in the Qing Dynasty. After overcoming a challenging and competitive environment, it transformed from a traditional paper mill into a tourist factory. Using its own produced "Color Wave Paper," Paper Making Dragon develops and creates "Paper Lego 3D Figurines," which are loved by both children and adults. Besides enjoying the fun of DIY crafting, visitors can also see many designs and creations of paper art in the exhibition hall. Here, you will discover that paper is no longer just a simple sheet; it showcases various forms and reflects our rich aesthetic of life. You are welcome to visit and experience the joy of creation! It is believed that this experience will provide significant inspiration and assistance for imagination, creativity, and construction, allowing you to gain a broader perspective in creation.
