Qingshui Geothermal Park Introduction

Along Taiwan Provincial Highway 7B, after passing by Changpi Lake, you will see a place ahead with white smoke and steam, which is the famous Qing Shui Geothermal. Continuing forward, you will arrive at Qing Shui Geothermal Park. Qing Shui Geothermal Park is located in the Qing Shui Valley to the south of Qing Shui Village and is rich in geothermal resources. It features an alkaline spring with clear spring water, and the water temperature reaches as high as 95 degrees Celsius, making it a great spot for picnicking in the countryside. Originally, Qing Shui Geothermal Park was the geothermal plaza of the old CPC work station, and in 1981, the first geothermal power plant in Taiwan was completed here. Currently, Qing Shui Geothermal Park has three cooking pools, two foot bathing pools, a resting area, and a sales section. The cooking and foot bathing pools use the water from Geothermal Well No. 19, providing visitors an opportunity to picnic. The food cooked in the boiling spring water turns out surprisingly delicious; by controlling the cooking time, you can enjoy a tasty hot spring egg, savoring the runny yolk, and then relax in the foot bathing pool, which is a wonderful enjoyment and a fulfilling way to spend a leisurely holiday.
