Qingshui Geothermal Park Introduction
Driving along Taiwan Highway 7B and passing by Changpi Lake, you will spot a place with rising white smoke and abundant heat ahead, which is the famous Qing Shui Geothermal. Continuing forward will bring you to Qing Shui Geothermal Park. Qing Shui Geothermal Park is located in the Qing Shui Creek Valley on the southern side of Qing Shui Village, featuring abundant geothermal resources. It is an alkaline spring with clear water, and the water temperature reaches up to 95 degrees Celsius, making it a great spot for picnics. The park was originally the geothermal plaza of an old CPC work station and was where Taiwan's first geothermal power plant was completed in 1981. Today, Qing Shui Geothermal Park is equipped with three cooking pools, two foot baths, resting areas, and a sales area. The cooking pools and foot baths utilize water from the No. 19 geothermal well, providing visitors a chance to picnic. The food cooked in the boiling spring water is surprisingly delicious; with proper timing, you can enjoy tasty onsen eggs, savoring the runny yolk before relaxing in the foot bath, making for a wonderful and fulfilling holiday.
