Sanfen Mountain Viewing Platform: A Panoramic View of the City Starting from the Jingguo Plum Garden, you can reach the Sanfen Mountain Viewing Platform in about twenty minutes. It overlooks the entire Taoyuan urban area, offering a broad and refreshing view. Scenery Health Trail: Leisurely Descent The Scenery Health Trail downhill from the viewpoint includes rocking chairs and pavilions along the way. Continuing down will lead to Sansheng Road, where you can head up to the "Minglun San Sheng Temple." Taoyuan Minglun San Sheng Temple is located at the foot of Hutoushan, adjacent to Hutoushan Park, Nankan River, and the Martyrs' Shrine. Originally named Minglun Qianyuan, the temple worships the Three Holy Benefactors, including Guandi, Lü Chunyang, and Jiutian Xuanjun. It was later moved to Hutoushan and in the 64th year of the Republic of China, images of the Three Holy Benefactors, Guanyin Bodhisattva, and the Heavenly Mother were enshrined in the temple. This temple was renamed Minglun San Sheng Temple to commemorate the day of the installation. Completed in the 68th year of the Republic of China, the architecture follows the essence of traditional temple culture, showcasing a vibrant artistic style. The second floor enshrines Guandi, with Fuyou Emperor on the right and Jiutian Xuanjun and Guanyin Bodhisattva on the left, along with the Heavenly Mother and other deities; the first floor holds statues of Li, Chi, Zhu, and Fan among the Five Guardians, as well as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and various deities, maintaining a bustling atmosphere with devoted followers. The temple grounds feature a large Nine Dragons Wall sculpture and a statue of Guan Gong on a horse, with intricate carvings and grand presence. Three-tiered Water Pool and Cherry Blossom Trail: Surprises Await Above the barbecue area lies the three-tiered water pool, where turtles and carp swim amidst the water. The adjacent Cherry Blossom Trail remains verdant even outside of bloom season, lined with clusters of vibrant red guzmania, lighting up the shaded path like flames. The trail includes pavilions designed to resemble bird nests, situated high among the trees, making it a must-see photo spot.
