Aor Forest Learning Center: A Joyful Paradise for Children The Aor Forest Learning Center features unique facilities such as mini treehouses and skywalks, encouraging children to explore and play endlessly! Elevated wooden walkways traverse among the treetops, protecting the environment while providing a fun experience. The park's attractions, such as the Gugu House and Tree Classroom, have become popular photo spots for families. Ecological Interpretation Trail: Intellectual Stroll Through Bamboo Groves After passing through Jingguo Plum Garden, visitors can enter the tranquil bamboo grove area, walking along the mountain trail lined with clusters of bamboo on either side, exhibiting a variety of species and forms. Along the way, there are informative boards about plants and the ecological environment, making it the best route to understand natural ecology, providing a cool and comfortable experience even in high temperatures. Sanfen Mountain Viewing Platform: A Heights Overlook of the City Starting from Jingguo Plum Garden, it takes about twenty minutes to reach the Sanfen Mountain Viewing Platform. Overlooking the entire Taoyuan city, the expansive view is refreshing and delightful. Scenic Health Trail: Leisurely Moments Descending the Mountain The Scenic Health Trail leading down from the viewing platform features rocking chairs and pavilions. Next to the Sun Pavilion, there are restrooms and drinking fountains, making it an ideal choice for strolling, resting, and enjoying the view. Continuing down will lead to Sansheng Road, where one can ascend to the "Minglun Sansheng Temple." Minglun Sansheng Temple, located at the foot of Hutoushan Mountain in Taoyuan, sits beneath Hutoushan Park, the Nankan River, and the Martyrs' Shrine. Originally named Minglun Qianyuan, it enshrines the Three Sacred Benefactors: Guanyu, Lu Chunyang, and Jiutian Xuanwu. The temple was relocated to Hutoushan, where the statues of the Three Sacred Benefactors, Guanyin, and the Heavenly Mother were seated within the temple in 1975, marking its establishment as Minglun Sansheng Temple. Completed in 1979, the temple's architecture embodies the essence of traditional temple culture, showcasing a vibrant artistic style. The second floor is dedicated to Guanyu, with various deities including Fuyou Emperor and Jiutian Xuanwu, alongside Guanyin and the Heavenly Mother, while the first floor houses five gods and the Earth God, blessed with a prosperous incense offering and devoted followers. The temple grounds feature a large Nine-Dragon Wall sculpture and a statue of Guanyu on horseback, intricately carved and imposing. Three-Stage Water Pool and Cherry Blossom Trail: Surprises Await Above the barbecue area, the Three-Stage Water Pool, with turtles and koi swimming within, is positioned next to the Cherry Blossom Trail, which remains lush with greenery even out of season. The trail edges are adorned with clusters of vibrant red ti plants, lighting up the shaded pathways like flames. Inside the Cherry Blossom Trail, there is a pavilion designed to resemble a bird's nest attached to the high trees, also a must-visit photo spot.
