Zhongli Film Archive (Guangying Hall 1) Introduction

Zhongli Light and Shadow Cinema is located in the Matsu New Village Cultural and Creative Park. The entire building was originally a community activity center for residents of the military dependents' village and has been transformed into a two-story cinema over the course of two years. The first floor features a service desk and static displays related to films and arts, while the second floor hosts a cinema that can accommodate 75 viewers and is equipped with a standard Dolby sound system. Zhongli Light and Shadow Cinema officially commenced operations in 2015, planning different themed film festivals and a series of film content each month, offering free public access and screenings. It is not only a highlight of the Matsu New Village Cultural and Creative Park but also an important hub for film and television development in Taoyuan. (Source: Cultural Affairs Bureau)
