Cheng Tian Chan Temple Trail Introduction
The Cheng Tian Zen Temple Trail (also known as the Chaoshang Trail, Nantiangu Mu Mountain Trail, and the Guoqin Old Monk Memorial Trail) is an important axis of the Smile Mountain Line in New Taipei City, connecting Cheng Tian Zen Temple, Tung Flower Park, Tian Shang Mountain, and Huo Yan Mountain. The trail was paved with natural stones in the 1960s and retains much of the native forest of Taiwan's low-elevation mountainous areas, making for a refreshing journey through the landscape.
