Tianshang Mountain System Trail Introduction
Tianshang Mountain, also known as Neipo Mountain and Emperor Mountain, is located at the boundary of Tucheng District and Sanxia District in New Taipei City. Its summit is particularly prominent due to the influence of the Xindian River and Heng Creek carving through the valley, giving it the appearance of being "high up in the sky," hence the name "Emperor Mountain." At the top of the mountain, there is a third-class triangulation point (No. 1099). Although Tianshang Mountain is not very high in elevation, it is the tallest peak in the Tianshang Mountain range, offering excellent views that overlook Tucheng urban area and distant views of the western half of the Taipei Basin, as well as the Datun Mountain and Guanyin Mountain areas. It was selected as one of Taiwan's Minor Hundred Peaks in 2003 and 2006.
