Pear Village Leisure Agricultural Area Introduction
Li Country Leisure Agriculture Area has won the Excellence Award and Model Award in the Leisure Agriculture Area Evaluation for the years 2018 and 2021. It integrates both soft and hard planning, including guided tours of the Pear Cultural Center, open fruit picking for tourists, coffee and orchid production, hiking trails, unique landscapes, natural forest ecology, and pottery and wood carving art projects. The area is filled with lush orchards, vibrant green in color, where farmers work among them, creating the most beautiful scenery. Along the way, the bald cypress trees display colorful foliage in the autumn, while the towering five-needle pines stand tall and lush. Every turn reveals new vistas and surprises; reaching the peak, you might discover seas of clouds, swirling mist, or the afterglow of sunset, showcasing different beautiful scenery throughout the four seasons. Due to the steep terrain, the forest composition is also rich, with five-needle pines, bald cypress, beech, sweet gum, cherry blossoms, and tung trees. As autumn arrives, the entire mountain quietly dresses itself in vibrant colors, a breathtaking sight. The Li Country Leisure Agriculture Area is a place where you can wash away your worries and relax your mind. At night, you can gaze at the starry sky, listen to the sounds of insects and birds, and enjoy the natural experience of life. We welcome everyone to enjoy a slow life of slow food, slow living, and slow travel. The area has a rich ecological environment and is operated in an environmentally friendly manner. In recent years, there has been a successful restoration of fireflies, and the firefly viewing activities held every April, combined with local Hakka cuisine – the Earth Table Farm Tour package, have become one of the annual grand events in the Li Country Leisure Agriculture Area. During the Pear Tree Adoption program, you can make an appointment with farmers in advance to personally experience the process from grafting pear shoots to bagging, appreciating the beautiful and simple rural natural environment, and tasting the freshest fruits right at the source, taking back wonderful travel memories. Thematic activities include firefly viewing in Li Country, rhinoceros beetle ecology tours, high-grafted pear cultural guides, orchid combination potted plants, pottery DIY, lacquer art experience DIY, pear tree adoption, pear fruit bus, Anis landscape art arrangement experience activities, and picnics.
