Pear Village Leisure Agricultural Zone Introduction
Li Village Leisure Agricultural Area has won the Outstanding Award and Model Award in the Leisure Agricultural Area Evaluation in 2018 and 2021. It integrates both software and hardware planning including the Pear Cultural Center tours, open fruit-picking for tourists, coffee and orchid production, hiking trails, special scenic views, natural forest ecology, and pottery and wood carving art projects. The area is dotted with vibrant green orchards, with farmers working among them, creating the most beautiful scenery. Along the way, the bald cypress trees along the roadside showcase colorful hues in autumn, while the towering five-needle pines stand strong and lush. Every turn reveals new vistas and surprises. Upon reaching the peak, depending on the season and weather, one might see a sea of clouds, mist rolling in, or the glow of the sunset, offering unique beautiful sights throughout the year! Due to the steep terrain, the forest composition is very rich with five-needle pines, bald cypress, beech trees, sweet gum, cherry blossoms, and tung trees. As autumn arrives, the entire mountain quietly dons colorful attire, a breathtaking sight. Li Village Leisure Agricultural Area is a place to cleanse the soul and relax the mind. At night, visitors can watch the starry sky, listen to the chirping of insects and birds, enjoying the natural experience of life. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a slow food, slow living, and slow travel lifestyle. The "Firefly Fantasy in Li Village" features a rich ecological environment managed in an environmentally friendly manner, and in recent years, there has been significant success in restoring fireflies. Each year, the firefly watching activities that begin in April combine with local Hakka cuisine — the Earth Table agritourism package, becoming one of the annual grand events of the Li Village Leisure Agricultural Area. The "Pear Tree Adoption" allows individuals to make reservations in advance with farmers to personally experience the process from grafting pear sprouts to bagging and planting, feeling the beauty and simplicity of nature’s rural environment, and tasting the freshest fruits picked straight from the orchard, taking wonderful travel memories home. Themed activities include: Firefly watching in Li Village, stag beetle ecology, high-grafting pear cultural tours, dendrobium bonsai combinations, pottery DIY, lacquer art experience DIY, pear tree adoption, pear fruit bus tours, Anistar landscape art arrangement experience, and picnicking.
