Dongshi Forest Farm Introduction
Dongshi Forest Farm covers an area of 225 hectares, featuring a rich variety of tree species and an elevation ranging from 500 to 700 meters. With warm winters and cool summers, each season offers a unique landscape, earning it the nickname of the "Yangmingshan of Eastern Taiwan." Currently managed by the Changhua County Farmers' Association, Dongshi Forest Farm combines flower viewing, bird watching, firefly observing, natural forest bathing, and the largest physical training area in the country. Upholding the management philosophy of "friendly and natural," it has become a natural tourism hub in central Taiwan and a great choice for visitors traveling to Taichung. The farm also offers interpretation services, allowing visitors to gain rich ecological knowledge through engaging and interesting introductions. Additionally, there are numerous plant explanation signs throughout the farm, making it a great place for tourists to absorb knowledge about forest plants while taking a leisurely stroll.
