Dongshi Hakka Cultural Park Introduction
Dongshi Hakka Cultural Park is converted from the old Dongshi Train Station, showcasing the characteristics of Hakka culture and connecting to the Dongfeng Bicycle Path, becoming one of the unique attractions in the green corridor. The vacant space of the former train station's waiting room has been renovated into the Hakka Cultural Park, featuring the architectural style of Hakka culture. Inside the park, there are exhibits of Hakka artifacts and occasional exhibitions. The park also plans themed exhibitions related to Hakka food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, and entertainment, introducing the industry's language and cultural characteristics. The traditional Hakka architectural style combined with the old train station creates a nostalgic ambiance, and passing through the preserved iron gate leads to the boundary of the station platform, where one can imagine the past and the emotions carved in every brick and tile. Behind the cultural park lies the Dongfeng Green Corridor bicycle path, where lush greenery spreads throughout the corridor, offering distant views of the beautiful mountain town.
