The Hakka Cultural Museum in Dongshi is renovated from the old Dongshi Railway Station. The original facilities such as the train platform and the rain shelter at the entrance of the waiting room were demolished due to structural aging. However, the long benches where passengers waited were preserved inside the exhibit room that was transformed from the waiting area. Behind the Hakka Cultural Museum is the Dongfeng Green Corridor bike path, surrounded by green scenery, making it one of the new landmarks for tourism. Inside the Hakka Cultural Museum, Hakka artifacts and periodic exhibitions of Hakka culture are displayed. The park also plans themed exhibitions related to Hakka food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, and entertainment, introducing industries, language, and cultural characteristics. If you pass by this area, don't forget to check the museum for what special exhibitions are on today; there may be unexpected discoveries.

Dongshi Hakka Cultural Park Introduction

Dongshi Hakka Cultural Park is transformed from the old Dongshi train station, showcasing the characteristics of Hakka culture and connecting with the Dongfeng Bicycle Path, becoming one of the unique attractions in the green corridor. The Hakka Cultural Park, renovated from the waiting room of the old station, features architectural styles of Hakka culture. At the back of the cultural park is the Dongfeng Green Corridor bicycle path, where lush greenery and beautiful mountain views can be seen in the distance.
