Dongshi Hakka Cultural Park Introduction
Dongshi Hakka Cultural Park is transformed from the old Dongshi train station, showcasing the characteristics of Hakka culture and connecting with the Dongfeng Bicycle Path, becoming one of the unique attractions in the green corridor. The Hakka Cultural Park, renovated from the waiting room of the old station, features architectural styles of Hakka culture. Inside the park, there are exhibits of Hakka artifacts and regular exhibitions. The park is also planned to feature themed exhibitions related to Hakka food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, and entertainment, introducing industries, languages, and cultural characteristics. The ancient-style Hakka architecture combined with the old station allows visitors to walk through the preserved iron gate and enter the boundary of the station platform, evoking a sense of the past, with every brick and tile reflecting deep emotions. At the back of the cultural park is the Dongfeng Green Corridor bicycle path, where lush greenery and beautiful mountain views can be seen in the distance.
