The Hakka Cultural Museum in Dongshi is housed in a former railway station that has been renovated from the old Dongshi Station. Facilities such as the original train platform and the rain shelter at the entrance of the waiting room were removed due to structural deterioration during the renovation. However, the long benches where travelers used to wait have been preserved in the exhibition room transformed from the waiting area. Behind the Hakka Cultural Museum is the Dongfeng Green Corridor cycling path, which is adorned with lush greenery, making it a new landmark for tourism. The museum features Hakka artifacts and hosts periodic exhibitions related to Hakka culture. The area also plans to showcase themed exhibitions covering aspects of Hakka culture such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, and entertainment, highlighting its industries, language, and cultural characteristics. Dongshi Hakka Cultural Park Introduction

The Dongshi Hakka Cultural Park is a transformation of the old Dongshi railway station, showcasing the characteristics of Hakka culture and connecting to the Dongfeng Bicycle Path, becoming one of the unique attractions along this green corridor. The cultural park, developed from the idle space of the old station's waiting room, features architecture reflecting Hakka cultural styles. Inside, it displays Hakka artifacts and periodically holds exhibitions. The park is also planned to feature thematic exhibits related to Hakka culture, covering aspects such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, and entertainment, while introducing industries, language, and cultural characteristics. The ancient Hakka architectural style combined with the old railway station allows visitors to pass through the preserved iron gate, entering the boundary of the station platform, where one can almost glimpse the past, with every brick and tile telling a story filled with emotions. Behind the cultural park lies the Dongfeng Green Corridor bicycle path, where lush greenery spreads throughout the area, offering views of the beautiful mountain town in the distance.
