Dongshi Hakka Cultural Park Introduction
Dongshi Hakka Cultural Park is transformed from the old Dongshi Railway Station, showcasing the distinctive features of Hakka culture and connecting with the Dongfeng Bicycle Path, becoming one of the unique attractions along the green corridor. The cultural park, renovated from the waiting area of the old station, features the architectural style of Hakka culture, housing Hakka artifacts and holding periodic exhibitions. The park also plans thematic exhibitions related to food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, and entertainment of Hakka culture, introducing its industry, language, and cultural characteristics. The ancient style of Hakka architecture blends with the old station; passing through the preserved iron gate brings you to the platform boundary, where one can almost catch a glimpse of the past, with every brick and tile etched with emotions. Behind the cultural park is the Dongfeng Green Corridor bike path, surrounded by lush greenery and offering views of the distant mountain town.
