The original train station's platform, waiting room entrance shelter, and other facilities were dismantled due to structural deterioration during the renovation. However, the long benches used by passengers while waiting have been preserved in the newly converted display room. Behind the Dongshi Hakka Museum is the Dongfeng Greenway bicycle path, which is surrounded by lush greenery, making it one of the new landmarks for tourism. The interior of the Dongshi Hakka Museum features Hakka cultural artifacts and periodic exhibitions of Hakka heritage. The park also plans themed exhibitions related to Hakka food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, and entertainment, introducing industries, language, and cultural characteristics.
