Sanwan Pear Township Recreational Agricultural Area Introduction
Sanwan Pear Township is the tenth officially approved leisure agricultural area in Miaoli County. As the name suggests, the most important agricultural specialty in the area is the famous Sanwan pear, along with other local products such as citrus fruits, tea oil, tea leaves, and Camellia flowers. The entire leisure agricultural area is filled with charming Hakka rural scenery. This area is located on the southern hillside of the Yonghe Reservoir, primarily centered around Yonghe Village and Beipu Village, offering rich recreational resources for leisure agriculture. The surrounding views are expansive, presenting beautiful and pleasant natural landscapes. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely experience here, engaging in family fruit picking, observing the ecology of the rural countryside, biking to appreciate the rural scenery, or hiking along the mountain trails to immerse themselves in the refreshing forest atmosphere.
