Sanwan Pear Township Leisure Agriculture Zone Introduction
Sanwan Pear Township is the 10th officially established recreational agricultural area in Miaoli County. As its name suggests, the most important agricultural product in the area is the famous Sanwan pear, along with other specialties such as citrus fruits, tea oil, tea leaves, and camellias. The entire recreational agricultural area is filled with the charming scenery of Hakka rural life. This area is located on the hilly terrain south of Yonghe Reservoir, primarily centered around Yonghe Village and Beipu Village, offering rich recreational agricultural resources and expansive views with beautiful natural landscapes. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely experience here, picking fruits as a family, observing the ecology of rural areas, cycling to appreciate the rural scenery, or walking along mountain trails to immerse themselves in the forest's fresh air.
