Yuanhai Puzuo Police Station Introduction
The police station is constructed of reinforced concrete, with a Western-style wooden framework for the roof. It is currently used as a dormitory and storage room. Next to the police station, there is an observation deck, which is a rare type of building that is not easily found elsewhere. The observation deck allows for a view of the changes along the coastline of Lugang and Changhua Coastal Industrial Park. The exterior walls of the observation deck are built using the wash stone technique, a construction method introduced by the Japanese from the West during the Japanese colonial period, capable of withstanding wind and sunlight.
