East Tower Introduction
Dongwanglou, located on Neipu Old Street, was built by the late Dr. Liu Huanxiang. It is the first traditional building in Neipu and has a history of about eighty years. Named "Dongwanglou" because its main entrance faces Mount Dawu, it serves as a reminder from Hakka ancestors to encourage their descendants to be as upright as bamboo and to understand humility. The roof features a swallowtail design, highlighting the grandeur of wealthy families at the time.
