Pangcah Three Treasures Craft Museum Introduction
By chance, Wu Mas, known as the father of Paiwan glass beads, realized that he had been caught up in the life of the Han people, forgetting that the glass bead culture within his tribe was worth studying. He began to research the lost technique of glass bead making, and after many years, he finally found a unique formula for crystal soil, developing realistic glass bead strings. This not only provided a path for cultural entrepreneurship for the tribe but also made him truly grateful to the women of the community. From then on, these bead strings, symbolizing status and identity, returned to cultural life in weddings, gradually reconnecting the fragments of their culture.
