Lianyuan Visitor Center Introduction
The Linari Visitor Center is located on He Ping Road in Maju Township, Pingtung County. The Forestry Bureau has set up the Linari Visitor Center at this site because it can link attractions along Taiwan Highway 24, as well as Pingtung Route 185 and 187. Additionally, the Pingtung County Government has established the Red Quinoa Story House and the Linari 1n1 Creative Space nearby, combining indigenous cultural inheritance with innovation and creativity, turning traditional craftsmanship into artworks with infinite imagination. The center provides a variety of services for tourists, including an accessible travel information counter, multimedia room, nursing room, book exchange station, and charging facilities for smart devices. Visitors to the center should definitely take a moment to stop and try on the traditional clothing of the Paiwan people for a unique photo experience. Situated in a prime area to enjoy the stunning views of the Pingtung Plain, visitors can ascend to the second floor to overlook the surrounding mountains, watch the sunset's golden hues, and gaze at the Xiapu Bridge and the Kaohsiung 85 Sky Tower in the distance. The plaza in front of the center occasionally hosts weekend art markets, showcasing creative markets that reflect indigenous cultural characteristics. For those who want to experience and learn about the culture of the Rukai and Paiwan people, it is recommended to enter the tribes and savor their cultural life. A stay of about 30 minutes is suggested, where visitors can gather local tourism information and inquire about popular free tribal clothing experiences for memorable photos.
