Linnaeus Tribe Visitors Center Introduction
The Linari Visitor Center is located on Heping Road in Majia Township, Pingtung County. The Forestry Bureau has established the Linari Visitor Center at this site, as it can connect attractions along Taiwan Route 24, County Route 185, and Route 187. Additionally, the Pingtung County government has set up the Red Quinoa Story Museum and the Linari 1n1 Creative Space nearby, combining indigenous cultural heritage with innovation and creativity, transforming traditional crafts into endless artistic expressions and providing visitors with convenient services for leisure, shopping, and travel. The center is equipped with accessible travel information consultation counters, a multi-media room, a nursing room, a book exchange station, and charging stations for smart devices. Visitors to the center should take a moment to don traditional costumes of the Paiwan people for a photo experience. Due to its excellent location for appreciating the panoramic views of the Pingtung Plain, visitors can ascend to the second floor to admire the surrounding mountains, watch the sunset glow, and gaze at the Wanjin Bridge and the Kaohsiung 85 Sky Tower. The plaza in front of the center regularly hosts an art market on holidays, blending the trend of creative markets with the unique cultural features of indigenous peoples. If visitors wish to further experience and understand the culture of the Rukai and Paiwan tribes, they are encouraged to enter the communities and savor their way of life. A suggested stay time is about 30 minutes, during which visitors can obtain local tourism information and inquire about popular free experiences to wear tribal costumes for memorable photos.
