Chulu Ranch Introduction
Chulu Ranch is the largest hillside ranch in Taiwan, where herds of dairy cows leisurely stroll across the lush pastures. With white fences and red houses set against the blue sky and soft white clouds, it resembles a picturesque European estate, captivating visitors. In addition to dairy cows, Chulu Ranch has introduced animals such as pet horses, sheep, rabbits, and peacocks, allowing travelers to get up close and personal with more animals. Visitors can hand-feed the dairy cows with fresh grass and also enjoy DIY crafting experiences. Chulu Ranch produces a variety of rich dairy products made from fresh milk, including fresh milk ice cream, milk buns, cheese, and crispy cookies, making it one of the best souvenirs in Taitung. Established in 1973, Chulu Ranch is the oldest large-scale tourist ranch in the Taitung area, covering an area of 67 hectares and situated at an altitude of 200 to 390 meters. Surrounded by the Central Mountain Range and the Coastal Mountain Range, the expansive views are refreshing, and the ranch has also developed a unique grass sliding activity that is popular among children. In this natural treasure, the diverse vegetation and ecosystems coexist, making visitors feel as though they have entered a paradise of nature. Walking on the green lawn and leisurely strolling down the tranquil tree-lined paths feels like being embraced by nature. As the gentle breeze blows, the magnificent scenery of both mountains and oceans intertwines, further enchanting visitors.
