Zhangyuan Presbyterian Church Introduction
The Changyuan Presbyterian Church is located in Changbin Township at the northernmost end of Changyuan Village. In 1990, the original church was damaged by a typhoon, and during the renovation, the idea struck to redesign the church to resemble a large ship. The building is surrounded by low walls on both sides, resembling a vessel entering Changyuan Harbor and preparing to dock. The vibrant red brick tribal totems on the exterior symbolize the enduring spirit of the local indigenous tribe.
