Zhangyuan Presbyterian Church Introduction
Zhangyuan Presbyterian Church is located in Zhangyuan Village, at the northernmost end of Changbin Township. In 1990, the original church was damaged by a typhoon. During the renovation, an idea emerged to redesign the church in the shape of a large ship. The building is surrounded by low walls on both sides, resembling a vessel about to dock at Zhangyuan Harbor. The bright red brick tribal totems on the exterior symbolize the enduring spirit of the local indigenous community.
