Zhangyuan Presbyterian Church Introduction

Zhangyuan Presbyterian Church is located in Zhangyuan Village at the northernmost end of Changbin Township. In the 79th year of the Republic of China, the original church was damaged by a typhoon. During the renovation of the church, an idea arose to redesign the building in the shape of a large ship. The structure is surrounded by low walls on both sides, resembling a vessel approaching the port of Zhangyuan. The bright red brick tribal totem on the exterior symbolizes the enduring spirit of the local indigenous community.
