Changyuan Presbyterian Church Introduction
Zhangyuan Presbyterian Church is located in Zhangyuan Village at the northernmost end of Changbin Township. In the 79th year of the Republic of China, the original church was damaged by a typhoon. During the renovation, the idea arose to redesign the church to resemble a large ship. The building is surrounded by low walls on both sides, resembling a vessel sailing into the Zhangyuan Harbor and preparing to dock. The prominent red brick exterior features tribal totems, symbolizing the enduring spirit of the local indigenous community.
