Zhangyuan Presbyterian Church Introduction
The Changyuan Presbyterian Church is located in Changbin Township, at the northernmost end of Changyuan Village. In the 79th year of the Republic, the original church was damaged by a typhoon. During the renovation, a creative idea emerged to transform the church into a shape resembling a large ship. The building is surrounded by low walls on both sides, like a vessel approaching the harbor of Changyuan ready to dock. The vivid red brick tribal totem on the exterior symbolizes the enduring spirit of the local indigenous community.
