Chihshang Cycling Route Introduction
The Chihshang Cycling Path is a network formed by the main line combined with three branch lines (Huanquan Branch, Tiantang Road Branch, and Xinxing Branch) and Bolang Avenue. Starting from Chihshang Station, it passes by Dapo Pond, Floating Canal, Big Waterwheel, Small Waterwheel, Chihshang Canal Inlet Ecological Park, Muye Resort, Dongxin Road, Wanchao, Wenti Road, and returns to Chihshang Station, completing a loop of about 3 hours. The entire route is planned according to the terrain and existing countryside paths, featuring wide fields, and is designed with the local culture of Chihshang Township as a blueprint, meticulously constructed to connect various attractions. Notable sights along the way include the nationally designated wetland Dapo Pond, Floating Canal and Daguan Pavilion, Bolang Avenue, Tiantang Road, the Tea Offering Tree, the Rice Cultural Museum, and Drift Bird 197 – Valley Land Art Season. Whether taking the main line or the branch paths, the surface is very flat, making the ride feel easy and effortless.
