Chihshang Countryside Bicycle Trail Introduction
Chiang-shan Eco-Trail, formed by a main route combined with three branches (Huanquan Branch, Tianfang Road Branch, Xinxing Branch) and Bolang Avenue, starts at Chi-shang Station and passes through Dapo Pond, Floating Ditch, Big Water Wheel, Small Water Wheel, Chi-shang Ditch Ecological Park, Muye Resort, Dongxin Road, Wanzhao, and Wentian Road, before returning to Chi-shang Station. The entire loop takes about 2 to 3 hours, depending on the time spent at each stop. The route is planned according to the terrain and existing rural paths, featuring broad fields and integrating the local culture and natural scenery of Chi-shang Township. Along the way, there are rich attractions such as the national wetland Dapo Pond, Floating Ditch with Daguan Pavilion, Bolang Avenue, Tianfang Road, Tea Offering Trees, and the Rice Homeland Museum. Whether you take the main line or branch roads, the surfaces are mostly flat and smooth, making for a very comfortable ride.
