Chishang East Rift Valley Cycling Path Introduction
The Chishang Loop Cycling Path is a network formed by the main route and three branches (the Huanzhun Branch, the Paradise Road Branch, and the New Star Branch) along with Bolang Avenue. Starting from Chishang Station, it passes by Dapo Pond, the Floating Ditch, the Big Waterwheel, the Small Waterwheel, the Chishang Ditch Inlet Ecological Park, the Muye Resort, Dongxin Road, Wanzhao, Wenti Road, and returns to Chishang Station, taking about three hours to complete a loop. The entire route is planned according to the terrain and the existing rural roads along with the broad agricultural landscapes, carefully constructed to incorporate the local culture of Chishang Township. There are rich attractions along the way such as the national wetland Dapo Pond, the Floating Ditch and Daguang Pavilion, Bolang Avenue, Paradise Road, the Tea Offering Trees, the Rice Homeland Museum, and the Drifting Birds 197 - Valley Land Art Season, among others. Whether riding on the main route or the branch roads, the pavement is quite flat, making the ride feel very easy and effortless.
