Chihshang Countryside Bicycle Path Introduction
The Chihshang Countryside Cycling Path is a network composed of a main route and three branch lines (Huanquan Branch, Tiantang Road Branch, and Xinxing Branch) along with Bolang Avenue. Starting at Chihshang Station, it passes through Dapo Pond, Floating Ditch, Great Waterwheel, Small Waterwheel, Chihshang Ditch Inlet Eco-Park, Muyu Resort, Dongxin Road, Wanchao, and Wentian Road, before returning to Chihshang Station, completing a loop in about 3 hours. The entire route is planned according to the terrain and existing country roads, featuring wide fields and landscapes, and is meticulously constructed with the rural culture of Chihshang Township as the blueprint. There are rich attractions along the way, including the national wetland Dapo Pond, Floating Ditch and Daguan Pavilion, Bolang Avenue, Tiantang Road, Fuzhu Tree, Rice Homeland Museum, and Migratory Bird 197 - Valley Earth Art Season. Whether taking the main route or the branch lines, the pavement is very flat, making the ride feel very easy and effortless.
