Dream Beach Introduction
Behind the Little Pond Reservoir, there is a beautiful spot known locally as Dream Beach, also called Wan'an Beach. This beach is roughly two hundred meters long and is quite simple, featuring fine golden sand, a relatively secluded location, and can only be fully appreciated during low tide, as the sand is usually submerged in the sea. During high tide, the entire beach disappears underwater, which is why it is referred to as Dream Beach. In the fjord's Dream Beach, if you walk down the embankment from the Little Pond Reservoir, you will discover this paradise. Crossing over the rocky areas, you can enjoy the beautiful beach scenery, and if you want to avoid crowds, this is definitely a great spot! Descending from behind the reservoir allows you to step onto the ultra-fine sand. On both sides of the beach, there are stone fishing traps, and nearby, there is a small area with magnificent columnar basalt formations. At dusk, the famous sunset at Xiyu can be seen in front, where you can enjoy the sunset and witness the golden rays shimmering on the sandy beach, creating a picturesque scene, earning it the title of Golden Sand Beach.
