Dream Beach Introduction
Behind the Xiaoqi Reservoir, there is a beautiful area known by locals as Dream Beach, also referred to as Wang'an Beach. This beach is approximately 200 meters long and features a simple yet exquisite golden sandy shore, set in a relatively remote location. Its true beauty can only be appreciated during low tide, as the sand is typically submerged in the sea, making it very fine and delicate. When the tide is high, the entire beach disappears underwater, which is why it is called Dream Beach. Located within the fjord, Dream Beach can be accessed by walking down the embankment from Xiaoqi Reservoir. This enchanting place can be uncovered by crossing some rocky areas, allowing you to enjoy the stunning beach scenery. If you're looking to avoid crowds, this is definitely a great spot to visit! By descending from the back of the reservoir, you'll find yourself stepping onto the ultra-fine sand. On both sides of the beach, there are stone traps, and nearby you can also admire a magnificent view of columnar basalt formations.
