Xiyu Dayi Temple Introduction
The main deity worshipped is the Wenchang God. The festival date is the 24th day of the sixth month of the lunar calendar. This temple was approximately established in the first year of the Tongzhi period (1862 AD) and was initially dedicated to Wang Ye of Wenfu. Over thirty years ago, the worship of Guan Yu (Wenchang God) was added, and it was named "Dai Yi Temple." In recent years, the reconstruction cost about ten million NTD. The temple is resplendent and magnificent, making it a tourist attraction in Xiyu Township.
