Xiyu Dayi Temple Introduction
Lord Enshrined: Wenchang Shengdi Festival Date: June 24 (Lunar Calendar) The temple was approximately established in the first year of the Tongzhi era (1862). Originally, it was dedicated to the worship of Wenchang Wangye and more than thirty years ago, the worship of Guan Yu (Wenchang Shengdi) was added, hence named "Dayi Temple." In recent years, reconstruction cost around 10 million NTD. The temple features golden and brilliant architecture, grand and magnificent, making it a tourist attraction in Xiyu Township.
