This temple was established around the first year of the Tongzhi era (1862 AD) to worship Lord Wenfu. Over thirty years ago, it added the worship of Guan Yu (Wenheng Shengdi) and was renamed "Dayi Temple." In recent years, reconstruction cost approximately NT$100 million. The temple's appearance is golden and splendid, grand and magnificent, making it a tourist attraction in Xiyu Township.

Xiyu Dayi Temple Introduction

Main Deity: Emperor Wenheng Festival Date: 24th day of the 6th lunar month This temple was established in the first year of the Tongzhi era (1862 AD) and originally dedicated to Wang Ye of Wenfu. Over thirty years ago, it added the worship of Guan Yu (Emperor Wenheng) and was named "Daiyi Temple." In recent years, the reconstruction cost around 10 million NTD. The temple is splendidly adorned and magnificent, making it a major tourist attraction in Xiyu Township.
