Zhuwan Crab Museum Introduction
Located next to Daxi Palace in Zhuwan Township, Penghu, covering an area of over a hundred ping, the museum boasts hundreds of varieties of shrimp and crab, with thousands of specimens and living individuals, holding the title of the best in the country. The collection of crabs in the museum is the result of six years of hard work by curator Chen Hong-tu, and the crab specimens reflect his unique techniques developed over years of research. The wide array of shrimp and crabs displayed is truly astonishing. The curator, Chen Hong-tu, is a resident of Zhuwan, and has been engaged with crabs for over ten years. Most of the crabs in the collection are from the waters of Penghu, with some collected from around the world, including the largest, heaviest, most poisonous, and fastest crabs, as well as those that can climb trees, have faces resembling the God of War, and horns. Additionally, there are eye-less deep-sea shrimp, the largest lobsters, and an incredible range of peculiar shrimp and crabs that you cannot imagine seeing in person, all showcased at the Zhuwan Crab Museum.
