Yuguangli Trail starts at Nanshan Temple and winds down along the industrial roads and mountain paths between tea plantations, ending at the colorful suspension bridge at Qushihe. Along the way, one can enjoy the lush scenery of the tea gardens. Located in the area, Yuguang Elementary School (now the Pinglin Elementary School branch) is an incredibly small elementary school, considered one of the tiniest in New Taipei City. The teachers at the school use weekends to design outdoor learning courses utilizing the natural environment around the school, providing opportunities for their students to engage in nature-related field activities with students from other schools.
