Fisherman's Light Trail Introduction

The Yuguangli Trail starts at Nanshan Temple and meanders down along agricultural roads and mountain paths between tea plantations, ending at the colorful suspension bridge of Dendrobium nobile. Along the way, visitors can enjoy the lush scenery of tea gardens. Located in the area is Yuguang Elementary School (now the Pinglin Elementary School Branch), which is a very small school and one of the tiniest elementary schools in New Taipei City. The teachers at the school utilize the natural environment around the school to design study-abroad courses during weekends, providing students with opportunities for nature-related outdoor learning activities with peers from other schools.
