Along Yushi Road, following the signs to "Qizhang Lake Farm" and heading up the mountain, you will find the "Bamboo Shoot Garden Wooden Path" along the way. It is 400 meters long and allows for observing the ecology of bamboo shoots. There is a viewing platform along the way where you can overlook the Taipei Basin and Taipei 101. The area is also a prime spot for eagle watching, with 29 species of eagles visible during the spring and summer transitions, and during the summer, you can see resident birds such as the sparrowhawk, the crested serpent-eagle, and the Javan hawk-eagle. At the Qizhang Lake Educational Farm, you can enjoy coffee, tea, and chat, as well as fish in the pond. The farm also offers a signature dish, "Scallion Bucket Chicken," which has a special light fragrance and is very delicious.

Flagpole Lake Educational Farm Introduction

Located in Wugu District, New Taipei City, Qijiao Lake Educational Farm features a canyon-like terrain, sandy loam, ample sunlight, and suitable water conservation. These natural environmental conditions, combined with the diligent farming techniques of local farmers, allow for the cultivation of the highest quality green bamboo shoots, which have won numerous championships in various competitions. Visitors can observe the ecology of green bamboo shoots, and from the viewing platform along the way, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the Taipei Basin and Taipei 101. In the spring and summer, it's possible to see 29 different species of eagles, while during summer, visitors can spot resident birds such as the Eurasian Sparrowhawk, the Crested Serpent Eagle, and the Japanese Sparrowhawk. At Qijiao Lake Educational Farm, guests can enjoy coffee and tea while chatting, and there is also a fishing pond. The farm's specialty dish, "Scallion Chicken in a Bucket," has a unique subtle fragrance and is very delicious.
