Along the Yushi Road, following the signs to "Qijian Lake Farm," you can walk uphill and see the "Green Bamboo Shoot Garden Wooden Path" beside the road. The path is 400 meters long and allows you to observe the ecology of green bamboo shoots. There are viewing platforms along the way where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Taipei Basin and Taipei 101. This area is also a great spot for eagle watching; between spring and summer, you can see 29 species of eagles, and in the summer, you can observe resident birds like the Japanese sparrowhawk, the greater spotted eagle, and the crested serpent eagle. At the Qijian Lake Education Farm, you can enjoy coffee and tea while chatting, or go fishing at the pond. The farm also offers a signature dish called "Scallion Bucket Chicken," which has a unique, subtle fragrance and is very delicious.

Flagpole Lake Educational Farm Introduction

Qi-Dang Lake Educational Farm, located in Wugu District, New Taipei City, features a valley terrain, sandy loam, ample sunlight, and moderate moisture retention. These natural environmental conditions, combined with the diligent farming techniques of local farmers, allow for the cultivation of the finest green bamboo shoots, which have won numerous championships every year. Visitors can observe the ecology of green bamboo shoots, and from the viewing platform along the way, enjoy a distant view of the Taipei Basin and Taipei 101. In spring and summer, 29 species of eagles can be seen, while summer offers opportunities to spot migratory birds such as the Crested Goshawk, Black Eagle, and other raptors. At Qi-Dang Lake Educational Farm, guests can enjoy coffee, tea, and conversation, as well as fishing in the pond. The farm also offers a specialty dish, "Scallion Chicken in a Bucket," which has a unique and delicate fragrance, making it exceptionally delicious.
