Along the Yushi Road, following the signs to "Qidao Lake Farm" and heading up the hill, you will find the "Green Bamboo Shoot Garden Boardwalk" along the roadside. It stretches 400 meters and allows visitors to observe the ecology of green bamboo shoots. There are scenic viewpoints along the way where one can have a distant view of the Taipei Basin and Taipei 101. The area is also an excellent spot for eagle watching, with 29 species of eagles visible from late spring to summer, and in the summer, one can spot resident birds like the Eurasian sparrowhawk, Philippine eagle, and Crested serpent eagle. At the Qidao Lake Educational Farm, visitors can enjoy coffee and tea while chatting, as well as fishing in the fish pond. The farm also offers a signature dish called "Scallion Bucket Chicken," which has a unique delicate fragrance and is very delicious.

Qizhang Lake Educational Farm Introduction

The Flagpole Lake Educational Farm, located in the Wugu District of New Taipei City, features a pit valley terrain, sandy loam soil, ample sunlight, and suitable moisture retention. These natural environmental conditions, combined with the hard work of diligent farmers, allow for the cultivation of the highest quality bamboo shoots, which have won various competition championships year after year. Visitors can observe the ecology of bamboo shoots and enjoy panoramic views of the Taipei Basin and Taipei 101 from the viewing platforms along the way. In the spring and summer seasons, 29 species of eagles can be seen, while in summer, migratory birds such as the Japanese sparrowhawk, the crested serpent eagle, and the black kite can be spotted. At the Flagpole Lake Educational Farm, guests can enjoy coffee, tea, and conversation, as well as fishing in the pond. The farm also offers a signature dish, "Scallion Steamed Chicken," which has a unique and delicate aroma and is very delicious.
