Zhongxiao Pier Introduction
Zhongxiao Pier is located about 300 meters downstream from Zhongxiao Bridge in Sanchong District, adjacent to Dadaocheng Wharf in Taipei across the river. Its main feature is eight brightly colored fixed piles, topped with wind speed measuring devices designed in the shape of geese to complement the nearby Huajiang Goose Protection Area theme. The view from the pier in the evening is stunning, with a beautiful display of changing clouds. In recent years, it has become a popular spot for photography enthusiasts to capture morning and evening scenes. It is recommended to rent a bicycle here to visit the next destination, the Duck Landscape Art Park, and return in the evening for enchanting sunset photography. The eight colorful fixed piles at Zhongxiao Pier are very eye-catching, with a few in the back serving as wind speed measuring devices designed in the shape of geese to echo the Huajiang Goose Protection Area, making it a popular photography location for morning and evening scenes.
