Zhongxiao Pier Introduction
Zhongxiao Wharf is located about 300 meters downstream from the Zhongxiao Bridge in Sanchong District, adjacent to the Dadaocheng Wharf in Taipei across the river. Its main feature is eight vividly colored fixed pillars, each topped with a wind speed measuring device designed in the shape of wild geese and ducks, reflecting the theme of the nearby Huajiang Geese and Duck Protection Area. In the evening, the scenery by the wharf is stunning, showcasing a variety of beautiful cloud formations. In recent years, it has become a popular spot for photography enthusiasts to capture morning and evening scenes. It is recommended to rent a bicycle here to head to the next attraction, “Duck Landscape Art Park,” and return in the early evening to photograph the captivating evening views. The eight colorful fixed pillars at Zhongxiao Wharf are very eye-catching, with the back few being wind speed measuring devices designed in the shape of wild geese and ducks, making it a popular location for photographing morning and evening scenes.
