In the early days, Ruifang and Jinguashi were centered around metal mining, and during that time, impoverished miners relied on sweet potatoes as their main source of sustenance. Over the years, that simple and pure taste has gradually been forgotten by many. Mi Shi Di seeks to recapture that authentic flavor by using traditional cooking methods and wrapping the original taste of Taiwan's Tainung No. 66 red sweet potato in layers of crispy pastry.
