Huangqing Bridge Introduction
The Huangqing Bridge in the Jinshan District of New Taipei City is known by the locals as "Wavy Avenue" due to its long and straight road with ups and downs. Huangqing Road is the liveliest road in Jinshan, its unique slopes making it feel like dancing, and it is also one of the key sections of the Wanjinshi Marathon. Along the route, you will pass through the Jinshan Qingshui farmlands, exploring the eco-friendly Xiaoxie Base, and witness the stunning beauty of blooming peony lotuses. You can experience the unique and extraordinary scenery of Jinshan, where you can see the blooming peony lotuses and inhale their subtle fragrance next to the Qingshui farmlands, Huangqing Bridge, and along National Route 2 (40.5 km). The petals of the peony lotus range from dozens to hundreds; due to the large size and peony-like shape of the flowers, they are named peony lotuses. The flowering period for peony lotuses in Jinshan is from mid-June to August each year. Visitors who wish to admire the lotuses should seize the blooming period. It is suggested to visit in the morning if you want to appreciate or purchase lotus flowers and lotus seed-related products, as they typically bloom in the early morning. Moreover, early in the morning there is more dew, and the blossoms are more vibrant, making for stunning photographs.
