Ruan's Jerky Industry Concept Hall Introduction
The first cultural museum in Taiwan themed on dried meat breaks the traditional and Chinese perception of dried meat, offering an interesting creative experience. With a transparent manufacturing process, visitors can learn about the new era of dried meat and the importance of food hygiene through guided tours. If you have seen the packaging, promotional materials, or website of "Ruan's Dried Meat," you would recognize the adorable dried meat mascots, the soothing promotional content, the simple and stylish design that combines fun and trendiness. It innovatively packages traditional dried meat, transforming a product that was previously sold only in markets during festivals into a popular internet delicacy. Taiwan is known as the gourmet capital of the world, and "dried meat" is a traditional Taiwanese food, while "chopsticks" represent Chinese culinary culture. "Ruan's Dried Meat" creatively integrates these two characteristics, resulting in "Chopstick Dried Meat," perfectly combining local delicacies and culture. Due to changes in industry structure, tourism-oriented factories supported by the government have thrived in recent years. Located on Chongxin Road in Sanchong, the Ruan's Dried Meat Industry Concept Museum was originally the Zhongzheng Meat Shop, which had been operating in the old Huan Nan Market for over 30 years. After the infusion of fresh blood from the second generation, it transformed into a digital development, becoming a well-known group buying delicacy online. From a physical store, it moved to the e-commerce space and then back to physical presence. The Ruan's Dried Meat Industry Concept Museum opened in 2015. In addition to selling the brand's best-selling dried meat products, it also offers DIY experiences and live demonstrations of the dried meat production process, providing a deeper understanding and appreciation of traditional Taiwanese food.
