Morning Bridge Introduction
The Chenguang Bridge is located within the New Taipei Metropolitan Park in the Sanchong District. It is a newly opened scenic bridge that began operation at the end of 2018. The bridge connects both sides of the Erchong Flood Channel, with its design inspired by the legendary story of the reunion of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl. The structure features a double-layer hyperbolic curve design to create an observation deck, and the winding Chenguang Bridge symbolizes the path of reunion between the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, resembling the Milky Way. In addition to its unique bridge design, visitors can also enjoy romantic constellation light sculptures at night! As the first pedestrian and cycling-friendly waterfront scenic bridge, Chenguang Bridge includes a scenic stream, a water play carpet, a light meal resting plaza, plant beautification, five nighttime constellation light sculptures, three accessible elevators, four gently sloped paths, and seven nebula magpie rack structures, allowing the public to enjoy the day and night beauty of New Taipei Metropolitan Park.
