Chengguang Bridge Introduction
The Chen Guang Bridge is located in the New Taipei Metropolitan Park in Sanchong District. It is a new scenic bridge that was opened at the end of 2018. The Chen Guang Bridge connects both sides of the Erchong Floodway, and its design concept is inspired by the legend of the reunion of Cowherd and Weaver Girl. The structure features a double-layer hyperbolic curve that creates a viewing platform, and the winding path of the Chen Guang Bridge symbolizes the route of their reunion like the Milky Way. In addition to its unique bridge deck design, it also features romantic constellation light sculptures that can be seen at night! As the first waterfront scenic bridge specifically designed for pedestrians and cyclists, the Chen Guang Bridge includes scenic streams, water play carpets, light snack休憩 plazas, plant beautification, 5 nighttime constellation light sculptures, 3 barrier-free elevators, 4 gently sloping trail paths, and 7 nebula magpie birdhouses, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the New Taipei Metropolitan Park both day and night.
