Duck Park Introduction
Duck Park is located at the confluence of the Dahan River and the Xindien River. Over the years, sediment in the river has formed sandbanks, providing a habitat for many water birds. To raise awareness about the conservation of water bird ecosystems, this area has been designated as a park for observing water birds and engaging in recreational activities. Every winter, the Duck Park Landscape Art Festival is held, themed around ducks, creating a unique space that combines fun, relaxation, and educational elements. The park features three different types of cute duck sculptures, where visitors can read educational signs while increasing their knowledge of natural ecosystems. Due to the abundance of aquatic plants and animals providing a stable food source, this place has become a major habitat for migratory birds, particularly during the period from September to April when small water ducks pass through. On weekends, visitors can not only enjoy walking and biking but also have the chance to see small water ducks leisurely paddling along the water's edge! In addition to a large grass area, Duck Park also includes several basketball courts, making it advisable to bring outdoor games such as frisbees and kites for a fun-filled day! However, it's worth noting that there are limited shaded areas, so it's recommended to avoid visiting during peak sun hours and to pay attention to sun protection and hydration.
