Duck Park Introduction
Duck Park is located at the confluence of the Dahan River and the Xindian River, where silt from the river has accumulated over the years to form sandbars, making it a habitat for many water birds. To raise awareness about the protection of the natural ecology of water birds, this area has been planned as a park for observing water bird ecosystems, relaxation, and activities. Every winter, the Duck Park Landscape Art Festival is held, featuring creative ideas centered around ducks to create a unique space that combines fun, recreation, and educational value. The park has three different types of Q-version duck sculptures, where visitors can read signage for explanations while enhancing their knowledge of natural ecology. With an abundance of aquatic flora and fauna providing a stable food source, this area also serves as a major habitat for many migratory birds, particularly during the period from September to April when the little ducks pass through. On weekends, in addition to walking and cycling, visitors may also have the opportunity to see little ducks leisurely paddling along the water's edge! Duck Park not only features a large lawn but also several basketball courts, so it's recommended to bring outdoor activity gear like frisbees and kites for a fun-filled day! Additionally, it’s important to note that there are not many shaded areas, so it's advisable to avoid visiting during peak sunlight and to pay attention to sun protection and hydration.
