Hsiang Ting Tea

Taipei Foods

The Zhou family has been planting, picking, and producing tea since the first generation of their ancestors, and now it is the seventh generation. Under the leadership of Mr. Zhou Qingzong, the sixth generation (who is a board member of the Taiwan Tea Manufacturers Association and the New Taipei City Tea Association), tea-making techniques have been refined to perfection. He has participated in numerous tea competitions and won countless awards, generously teaching tea-making techniques to peers and passing them down to the next generation. Currently, they specialize in producing Dayuling tea, Lishan tea, Shanlinxi tea, High Mountain Red tea, and the king of green tea, Bi Luo Chun. They manage the entire process from tea garden management to picking and production personally on-site. The Zhou family may be the only tea farmers in the Greater Taipei area who personally produce tea from the three major tea districts of Dayuling, Lishan, and Shanlinxi. Each batch of tea produced in these areas ranges from approximately 2,000 to 4,000 Taiwanese jins, depending on the district and the quantity produced. About 95% of the tea is sold to tea shops and traders, and the quality of each batch can vary slightly. The best quality tea is reserved for retail, ensuring that consumers receive only the highest quality. Customers often praise the tea for its excellent quality and reasonable price.
