Dakeng Scenic Bridge Introduction
In Beitun District, Taichung, there are various themed cultural landscape bridges such as the New Peach Blossom Source Bridge, Romantic Lover's Bridge, Dakeng Fresh Bridge, Blue Sky and White Clouds Bridge, and Hai Tian Bridge. These bridges connect to Route 4, leading to Beitun District, Dakeng District, and Taiping District, making transportation more convenient for residents. The uniquely designed landscape bridges each emit distinctive charm whether during the day or night, and locals especially enjoy coming here to take photos and relax. With fewer vehicles and a spacious environment, it's suitable for cycling together at night while enjoying the serene riverside scenery and admiring the increasingly beautiful bridges as night falls. The New Peach Blossom Source Bridge is the earliest and also the largest bridge among the Dakeng landscape bridges. It features a white culvert design with pedestrian walkways on both sides for leisurely strolls and scenic views. Notably, the maple leaf decorations on the walkways are a highlight of the Dakeng area. The Romantic Lover's Bridge resembles a harp when viewed from the side, constructed with slanted arches of steel pipes, showcasing a pink exterior with a glass ground, making it a pedestrian-exclusive overpass. The elegant Blue Sky and White Clouds Bridge combines blue and white colors in a temple-style construction that resonates with the blue sky and white clouds. When night falls, the illuminated bridge glimmers, reflecting the starry night and creating an enchanting entrance to a magical paradise. The Dakeng Fresh Bridge, shaped like a ribbed fountain, symbolizes the lush forest scenery of the Dakeng area. Its unique curved and symmetrical design resembles a butterfly soaring high, which is why it is also known as the "Butterfly Bridge." Under the dazzling night lights, the bridge resembles a captivating light and water show, with green arched steel beams resembling water columns, complemented by bright blue lights at the ends of the beams, presenting a dynamic beauty that attracts many photography enthusiasts. The landscape bridge group is located near the Xindu Ecological Park and Dakeng Scenic Area, making it ideal to visit these sites in the morning and then enjoy a breezy walk along the landscape bridges at sunset, soaking in the starlit night and spending a romantic day. Hai Tian Bridge is a beautiful white mountain-shaped bridge that extends across Hanxi East and West Road from Songzhu 5th Road, symbolizing the meaning of "the sea and sky in a line, heart and hand connected."
