Baker Park Introduction

Located in the East District of Tainan City, Barkley Park, which faces the Tainan Cultural Center, boasts a vast area and is often referred to as the lungs of Tainan. It is no exaggeration to say that it is the most popular park in Tainan, infused with an artistic vibe. In spring and summer, it is lush with greenery, occasionally illuminated by the glow of fireflies at night, while in autumn and winter, the cypress trees are adorned with yellow and red leaves. Walking through the park, one is surrounded by light and shadow, and visitors are often compelled to take many photos. Sunlight filters through the trees, creating a striking contrast between light and dark, forming the park's most beautiful scenery. The remaining old tree stumps on the ground sit quietly by the pond's reflection, resembling miniature mountains and exuding a leisurely atmosphere akin to that of foreign landscapes. It is not uncommon to find groups happily picnicking under trees, on the grass, and on benches, reminiscent of Central Park in New York.
