Fengshan County originally had six city gates and six fortifications, but currently, only one city gate (East Side Gate) and three fortifications (Chenglun, Heisei, and Xunfeng) remain. These are all designated as municipal historic sites known as "Remnants of Fengshan County City." Chenglun Fort is located at the intersection of Lizhi Street and Fuxing Street in Fengshan District (behind Fengshan Elementary School) and is situated at the southwestern corner of the county city. It is an irregular octagonal fortification, and on both sides of the fort, several "gun holes" (larger inside and smaller outside) for long guns can still be clearly seen. The view from the fort overlooking the moat is expansive.
