Gangshan Eye (Closed for maintenance) Introduction

The Eye of Gangshan Park, located at the border of Gangshan District and Yanchao District on Xiaogang Mountain, covers an area of approximately 1.8 hectares. The Qing Dynasty poet Zhuo Mengcai described the local scenery in his poem "The Color of Trees in Gangshan," portraying the lush, tiered green landscape that stretches vast under the view from The Eye of Gangshan, bringing poetic sentiments and timeless elegance back to life. Sky Corridor, taking a walk in the clouds, serves as the main feature of The Eye of Gangshan Park. It is 88 meters long and designed with music as its concept, adopting a steel cantilever bridge structure. The main tower of the bridge embodies the image of a violin, with the steel cables representing the strings, symbolizing harmonious music. The spiral staircase at the end echoes the harmonica, and the steps resonate like piano keys. Walking along the Sky Corridor with the gentle breeze feels like playing the music of nature, allowing visitors to enjoy a visual and auditory feast while symbolizing the rebirth of life on Xiaogang Mountain. Rest and sightseeing, overlooking Greater Kaohsiung. The planning of this park respects the environment and ecological conservation. The Sky Corridor offers breathtaking views of the Agongdian Reservoir, Agongdian Forest Park, Agongdian Stream, and the surrounding plain. On clear days, one can also enjoy stunning sights of the majestic Northern Dawu Mountain and nearby mountains, the Kaohsiung landmark 85 Sky Tower, Banping Mountain, Shoushan, and the Taiwan Strait, capturing all the picturesque landscapes.
