Gangshan Eye (Closed for Renovation) Introduction

The Gao Shan Eye Park, located at the intersection of Gangshan District and Yanchao District on Xiaogang Mountain, spans approximately 1.8 hectares. The Qing Dynasty poet Zhuo Mengcai described the local scenery with the poem "Gangshan Tree Color," capturing the verdant layers and smoky greens of the area. At the Gao Shan Eye, visitors can enjoy an expansive view that evokes poetic sentiments and the charm of ages past. Sky Corridor: Strolling in the clouds, the park features the Sky Corridor as its centerpiece, which measures 88 meters in length and is designed with a musical concept. Constructed as a steel cable-stayed bridge, its main tower resembles a violin, with the cables symbolizing strings, embodying the harmony of music. At the end of the spiral staircase, a harmonica is echoed, with steps resembling piano keys that resonate with each footfall. Walking along the Sky Corridor, one can feel the gentle breeze that plays a natural melody, enhancing the visual and auditory feast of cloud-walking and symbolizing the life of Xiaogang Mountain reborn. Rest and Scenic Views: The park's design respects environmental and ecological conservation. From the Sky Corridor, one can gaze over Agongdian Reservoir, Agongdian Forest Park, Agongdian Creek, and its surrounding plains. On clear days, it's possible to see the magnificent Beidawu Mountain and neighboring ranges, as well as landmarks like the 85 Sky Tower, Banping Mountain, Shoushan, and the Taiwan Strait, all laid out before the eyes.
