Gangshan Eye (Closed for Maintenance) Introduction
The Eye of Gangshan Park, located at the junction of Gangshan District and Yanchao District, spans approximately 1.8 hectares on Xiaogang Mountain. The Qing Dynasty poet Zhuo Mengcai described this area in his poem "Gangshan Tree Color," highlighting its lush greenery and scenic views that seem to stretch endlessly. Walking on the Sky Walk, which features a length of 88 meters and is designed around the concept of music, visitors can enjoy a unique experience. The main tower bridge is shaped like a violin, with the cables representing strings, symbolizing harmony. The spiral staircase at the end resembles a harmonica, with stair treads echoing musical notes, as the breeze plays nature's melody. The park offers a breathtaking view of Greater Kaohsiung, respecting environmental preservation and ecology. The Sky Walk allows visitors to overlook the beauty of the A-Gong-Dian Reservoir, A-Gong-Dian Forest Park, the river, and its plains. On clear days, one can also gaze at the majestic North Dawu Mountain and nearby ranges, along with significant landmarks such as the 85 Sky Tower, Banping Mountain, Shoushan, and the Taiwan Strait.
