Zhi Bin Doubanjiang Story Museum Introduction
Located at the foot of Xiaogang Mountain, the Doubanjiang Story Museum is situated on Gangshan District's Dazhuang Road, a key route into the Eye of Gangshan from National Highway No. 1. Doubanjiang is one of the "Three Treasures of Gangshan" in Kaohsiung, and Zhihan Doubanjiang is one of the three well-known brands of Gangshan Doubanjiang with good online reviews. The newly established "Zhihan Doubanjiang Story Museum" has been transformed from the idle space of the former Kaohsiung City Gangshan Farmers' Association warehouse. Besides a display area selling various kinds of Doubanjiang produced by Zhihan, the museum also collaborates with local small farmers in Gangshan to sell various agricultural specialty products. In the spacious grounds, the most eye-catching feature is a group of large "sauce fermentation tanks." Visitors can also make reservations for sauce stirring experiences. The open area includes an event stage and indoor space, where DIY tasting events for Doubanjiang condiments can be held, along with various family-friendly activities. The overall design of the museum features colorful murals created in collaboration with the Department of Applied Design at Shude University of Science and Technology, integrating local cultural elements that are not only full of stories and humor but also provide interesting photo opportunities, resulting in many unexpected magical effects.
