Zhibin Doubanjiang Story Museum Introduction
Located at the foot of Xiaogang Mountain, the Doubanjiang Story Museum is situated on Dazhuang Road in Gangshan District, which is a necessary route to enter the Gangshan Eye on National Highway No. 1. Doubanjiang is one of the "Three Treasures of Gangshan" in Kaohsiung, and Zhimin Doubanjiang is one of the three well-known brands of Gangshan Doubanjiang with a good reputation online. The newly established "Zhimin Doubanjiang Story Museum" has been transformed from an unused space in the former Kaohsiung City Gangshan District Agricultural Association warehouse. In addition to an exhibition hall selling various types of Doubanjiang produced by Zhimin, Zhimin also collaborates with local small farmers in Gangshan to sell various specialty agricultural products. The large park is prominently featured with clusters of "large sauce vats," and there are opportunities for reservation-based sauce making experiences. The open park area includes an activity stage and an indoor space where DIY tasting events for Doubanjiang condiments and various family-friendly activities can be held. The overall mural design inside the museum is a collaboration with the Department of Applied Design at Shude University of Science and Technology, connecting local cultural elements, which is filled with storytelling and humor, providing unique photo opportunities that create many unexpected magical effects.
