Zhibin Doubanjiang Story Museum Introduction
Located at the foot of Xiaogang Mountain, the Doubanjiang Story Museum is situated on Dazhuang Road in Gangshan District, a necessary route when entering the Gangshan Eye from National Freeway No. 1, Zhongshan Highway. Doubanjiang is one of the "Three Treasures of Gangshan" in Kaohsiung, and Zhihui Doubanjiang is one of the three well-known brands of Gangshan Doubanjiang, renowned online. The newly established "Zhihui Doubanjiang Story Museum" has been transformed from a former warehouse of the Gangshan Farmers' Association in Kaohsiung City. In addition to a display area selling various Doubanjiang products produced by Zhihui, the museum also collaborates with local farmers in Gangshan to sell a variety of local agricultural products. The expansive site features numerous "large fermentation jars," and it offers a reservation-based Doubanjiang stirring experience. The open area includes a stage and indoor space for DIY tasting events featuring Doubanjiang condiments and various family activities. The overall artistic design of the museum is a collaboration with the Department of Applied Design at Shu-Te University, incorporating local cultural elements. It is not only full of stories and humor but also provides great photo opportunities, creating many unexpected magical effects.
