Qingye Persimmon Garden Introduction
The persimmons are growing rapidly and will be ripe soon. Come and taste the delicious fruits, and the best part is, there are free samples available! There are both soft and crunchy ones to try! *For soft ones: cut them in half and scoop out the flesh with a large spoon. *For crunchy ones: rinse the surface of the fruit and use a peeler to remove the skin, or you can slice them with a knife to enjoy a nice flavor as well! Typically, the ones you pick from the persimmon orchard are crunchy, and if you find soft ones, they are usually overripe and haven't been harvested. If you want to eat soft persimmons after bringing them home, just leave them at room temperature for 4 to 5 days, and they will turn red and soft. Putting them in the fridge makes them less likely to ripen, as the lower temperature slows down the ripening process. However, refrigerating them will make the persimmons crispy and sweet, enhancing their texture.
