Qingye Persimmon Garden Introduction

Sweet persimmons are rapidly growing. When the persimmons are ripe, come and taste these delicious fruits! Even better, there are free samples available! You can try both soft and firm ones. *For soft persimmons: cut them in half and use a large spoon to scoop it out. *For firm persimmons: wash the skin and use a peeler to remove the skin, or you can slice them to eat as well! Typically, the ones you pick in the persimmon orchard are firm. If you pick soft ones, they are usually overripe and not harvested. If you want to eat soft persimmons after taking them home, leave them at room temperature for 4-5 days, and they will turn red and soft. If you store them in the refrigerator, they will not ripen as quickly because the lower temperature slows the ripening process. However, refrigeration will make the persimmons crisp and sweet, improving their texture.
