Renzhiguan is a narrow gorge located upstream of Meixi River, between the Daguanchiao and Ren'ai Bridge along Pu-Wu Highway. In this short stretch of several hundred meters, steep cliffs and towering rocks rise on both sides. It is said that this checkpoint was established near Meixi to prevent disputes between indigenous people and lowland residents from escalating.
