Established in the 13th year of the Daoguang reign (1833 AD), Lantian Academy was relocated to its current site in 1864. It is one of the seven major historical sites in Nantou County and is recognized as a national third-class historical site. The academy is rich in historical relics, and students often come here to study and seek blessings, enjoying the nurturing of culture.
