Founded in the 13th year of the Daoguang era (1833 AD), the Lantian Academy was relocated to its current site in 1864. It is one of the seven historical sites in Nantou County and is recognized as a national third-class historic site. The academy is rich in historical artifacts, and students often come here to study and seek blessings, enjoying the cultivation of culture.
