Established in the 13th year of the Daoguang era (1833 AD), Nantou's Lantian Academy was relocated to its current site in 1864. It is one of the seven major historical sites in Nantou County and is designated as a national third-level historical monument. The academy is rich in historical artifacts and often frequented by students who come to study and seek blessings, enjoying the nurturing of culture.
