Established in the 13th year of the Daoguang Emperor (1833), Lantian Academy was relocated to its current site in 1864. It is one of the seven major historical sites in Nantou County and is classified as a national third級 historical site. The academy has rich historical relics, and students often come here to study and seek blessings, enjoying the cultivation of culture.
