Established in the 13th year of the Daoguang Emperor's reign (1833), Lantian Academy was relocated to its current site in 1864. It is one of the seven major historical sites in Nantou County and is recognized as a national third-class historical site. The academy is rich in historical relics, often attracting students who come here to study and seek blessings, enjoying the cultivation of culture.
