Shitou Gong Sand Pit Trail Introduction
This is a hiking trail connecting Shetou District in Changhua and Nantou City, with a total length of approximately 1.5 kilometers. The entire trail is a gently sloping shaded pathway. The Nantou side features agricultural landscapes, while the Changhua side offers wooded views. The likelihood of encountering fellow hikers is low, allowing for a solitary hiking experience. Additionally, a 2-minute walk from the Nantou trailhead (Ling Ji Temple) leads to a convenience store, and the temple also provides drinking water and public restrooms (which may vary due to pandemic restrictions), making it very convenient for hikers.
