Xiangdongping Qipanshi Introduction
Chessboard Rock is a natural wonder filled with mysterious legends, located in Fusheng Village, Zhongliao Township. Here, the giant rocks are naturally cut into square shapes resembling complete blocks of tofu, which is truly astonishing. It is said that immortals used to play chess here, as the rock formation resembles a chessboard due to natural cracks, surrounded by mountains, with the only flat land being a low valley. Between the rocks, delicate green grass grows in the seams, resembling the green borders of a chessboard, making it a remarkable sight. Chessboard Rock is nestled between two valleys, forming a rectangular lowland, with a gentle stream flowing through it, bringing a refreshing breeze. The grass growing in the crevices of the chessboard rocks is neatly arranged like green lines on a chessboard, adding to the vibrant green charm of this extraordinary landscape.
