Xian Dong Ping Chessboard Rock Introduction
Xiantongping Checkerboard Rock, located in Zhongliao Township, is a unique natural landscape. The low-lying valley has been shaped by rainwater erosion and geological movements, causing large rocks to be naturally divided into square blocks, forming a checkerboard rock that spans an area of up to 3,000 square meters, resembling a complete block of tofu. The gaps in the checkerboard rock are filled with lush green grass, resembling natural lines on a chessboard, showcasing the remarkable artistry of nature.
