Established in the 36th year of the Kangxi Emperor (1697), originally named "Houliao Temple." However, due to its followers being spread across Xipu and Dingdianzi, and not limited to Houliao, it was renamed after the main deity, Lord Wu. In addition to worshiping Lord Wu, it also enshrines the Jade Deities of the Xue, Wen, and Zhang families, as well as the Prince.

Wufugang Temple (Wang'an) Introduction

The temple is dedicated to the main deity, King Wu of Wufang, which was established in the 36th year of the Kangxi reign (1697) and originally named "Houliao Temple." However, due to its followers being widespread in Xipu and Dingtianzi and not limited to Houliao, the name was changed to reflect the deity's name, King Wu of Wufang. In addition to the main deity, the temple also houses offerings to Xue, Wen, Zhang, and the Prince.
