Beixianghu Park Introduction
Beixianghu Park in Chiayi City covers an area of approximately 25.26 hectares, making it the second largest park in Chiayi City, after Chiayi Park. It is defined as a forestry culture theme park. Beixianghu Park recreates the "Beixiang Autumn Lotus," one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Chiayi recorded in Qing Dynasty literature, hence it features Beixiang Lake and over 2,000 shrubs and more than 70,000 trees of various species. Coupled with the surrounding Bo'ai Park and Pizitao Botanical Garden, it forms the largest park green space in the western district, becoming the lungs of urban Chiayi. The park includes Songfeng Pavilion, cherry blossom forest, Pizitao Botanical Garden, and grassy landscape areas for visitors to enjoy recreational activities.
