Sihua Chanten Temple Introduction
The Sihugang Tian Temple, also known as the Divine Physician Guan Temple, primarily worships the deity Guansheng Emperor. Since the Qing Dynasty and during the Japanese occupation, it has played a significant role in eliminating opium use, alleviating epidemics, and curing countless illnesses, with its miraculous deeds spreading widely. It serves as a pilgrimage center for Guan Gong worship in Taiwan. Inside the temple, there is a Japanese-style palanquin used for the worship of deities from the Beigang Shrine.
