Sihhu Santian Temple Introduction
The Shenzhi Guandi Temple, also known as Sihu Cangtian Temple, primarily enshrines the Lord Guan (Guansheng Dijun). Since the Qing Dynasty and during the Japanese rule, it has helped to eradicate opium, quell epidemics, and cure countless illnesses, becoming a center for the worship of Guan Gong (Lord Guan) in Taiwan. The temple preserves a Japanese-style portable shrine from Beigang Sheng Shrine. Image source: Hsueh Ying-Chi/Photography. (Authorized photos may not be reproduced)
