The Sihugang Tian Temple, dedicated to Guansheng Dijun (Guan Yu), has been a center for worship of Guan Gong in Taiwan since the Qing Dynasty and the Japanese occupation, known for its role in banning opium, alleviating epidemics, and healing countless ailments. Its miracles have been widely celebrated. Inside the temple, there is a Japanese-style palanquin used for rituals from Beigang Shrine.

Sihuh Chan Temple Introduction

Shenyi Kuangtian Temple, also known as Sihuge Cangtian Temple, enshrines the God of War, Guandi (Kuan Ti). Since the Qing Dynasty and during the Japanese occupation, it has been dedicated to eradicating opium, calming epidemics, and has healed countless illnesses, with its miraculous deeds widely praised. It is a prominent pilgrimage center for the worship of Guandi in Taiwan. The temple also houses a Japanese-style portable shrine that was used in the worship at Beigang.
