Vision Hall Introduction
The Vision Hall is located on Section 4 of New Taipei Boulevard in Xinzhuang, at the very end of the Zhonggang Drain. This exhibition hall was built alongside the Zhonggang Drain improvement project, aiming to provide a better understanding of the drainage engineering and related water resources information. Upon entering the first floor, visitors will see old photographs of Xinzhuang embedded in the glass outer wall, while the inner walls showcase a more modern imagery, including many cute children. Once inside, it feels like stepping into a magical water world, with gentle water sounds and projections that make one feel as if they are amidst a stream and lake. One of the most impressive features is the 14-meter-long interactive wall. In addition to information about the improvement and evolution of the Zhonggang Drain and hydrological and historical data, the Vision Hall occasionally hosts exhibitions that encourage public visits. Guided tours are also available, allowing visitors to absorb knowledge interactively in a digital format. It offers insights into Xinzhuang's cultural history, the reasons, processes, and outcomes of the Zhonggang Drain improvement plan, as well as environmentally friendly concepts in water resource management, making it an exhibition hall rich in educational significance.
